How much do OnlyFans agencies take, and what you should get for it

Most OnlyFans agencies take a percentage of what you earn instead of a flat fee, and the number on the offer is only half the story. The other half is what that percentage is calculated on, what work it pays for, and whether you can see the split in writing before anything starts. This guide walks through the typical ranges, the net versus gross trap, and the questions that tell you whether a cut is fair.

The usual range for an OnlyFans manager percentage

Agencies in this space almost always work on commission. The ranges you will commonly see in offers sit somewhere between 20 and 50 percent, and some go higher for full service teams. A low number is not automatically a good deal and a high number is not automatically a rip off. What matters is the scope of work behind the number and the base it is taken from.

A rough way to read the market is to group offers by how much of the business they actually run for you.

  • Light support, such as profile audits, a content plan and promotion advice, usually sits at the lower end of the range.
  • Full management, where the agency handles promotion, chatting, pricing and the message calendar, usually sits in the middle.
  • Dedicated teams with extended chat coverage, a second platform and a personal account manager usually sit at the top.

If an offer quotes a percentage without listing exactly what is included, treat it as incomplete. You should be able to point at every line of work and know who does it.

Why net versus gross changes everything

OnlyFans keeps 20 percent of what fans spend and pays the creator the remaining 80 percent. That 80 percent is your net earnings. Some agencies take their cut from net, others from gross, meaning from the full amount fans spent before the platform fee. The same headline percentage produces very different results depending on which base is used.

Here is a simple comparison for a month where fans spend 1,000 USD on your page.

Fans spendPlatform keeps 20%Your netAgency 30% of netYou keep (net base)Agency 30% of grossYou keep (gross base)
1,000 USD Platform keeps 20% 200 USD Your net 800 USD Agency 30% of net 240 USD You keep (net base) 560 USD Agency 30% of gross 300 USD You keep (gross base) 500 USD

On a gross base, the agency is effectively taking a share of money that never reached you. In this case that is 60 USD more per 1,000 USD of fan spending, every single month. Always ask which base the contract uses, and ask to see it in writing.

What a fair OnlyFans management percentage pays for

A percentage is fair when the work behind it is real, regular and visible to you. Before you compare numbers, list the services you actually need. A creator who loves talking to fans does not need to pay for chat shifts. A creator who has no time for the inbox probably does.

These are the areas a serious agency should be able to explain in detail.

  • Strategy and branding, including your bio, banner, niche positioning and a review of your prices.
  • Promotion on Reddit, X, Instagram and TikTok, with a plan for which channels fit your style.
  • Chatting and fan care within platform rules, with clear coverage hours.
  • A pricing, PPV and mass message calendar, so offers go out on a schedule instead of at random.
  • Analytics, with a regular report you can read without a spreadsheet degree.
  • A content plan that tells you what to shoot on your phone each week.

If a contract mentions only "growth" or "management" without these details, you cannot tell whether you are paying for a team or for a promise. Our services page shows how we break this work down.

Warning signs hidden behind the number

Some of the worst deals look fine at first glance because the percentage sounds normal. The problems sit in the extras and the fine print. Watch for these patterns before you agree to anything.

  • Upfront fees, setup fees or a card on file before any work starts.
  • Commission taken from gross earnings without saying so clearly.
  • Extra charges for things you assumed were included, such as chatters or promotion.
  • No written split, or a split that changes once you start earning more.
  • Pressure to decide on a call today, or refusal to put terms in writing.
  • No age and identity verification of the creator before work begins, which is a sign the agency is not careful about platform rules.

We cover more of these in our guide to OnlyFans agency scams. A good agency is happy to answer every question in writing because its terms hold up.

How to compare two agency offers side by side

When you have more than one offer, put them on the same sheet. Use the same monthly fan spending figure for both and work out what you would actually keep. Then line up the services.

  • Write down the percentage and the base (net or gross) for each offer.
  • Calculate what you keep at a few levels of fan spending, such as 500, 2,000 and 5,000 USD.
  • List every included service and every extra charge.
  • Note how you can leave, and whether that is clear and simple.
  • Check whether the agency verifies age and identity before starting, and how it handles your privacy.

This takes twenty minutes and often makes the decision obvious. A slightly higher percentage on net with full chat coverage can leave you better off than a lower percentage on gross with chatters billed on top. Our page on choosing the best OnlyFans agency has a longer checklist.

How FansMarketers charges

We publish our split openly and take it only from net earnings, meaning what the platform pays out after its own fee. There are no upfront fees, no card on file and no sales calls. You apply online in about two minutes with one contact field, and we verify age and identity before any work starts.

PlanOur share of net earningsBest for
Growth Our share of net earnings 20% Best for Creators who keep their own inbox and want strategy, branding, promotion and a monthly content plan
Management Our share of net earnings 30% Best for Creators who want chatting, pricing, PPV and the mass message calendar handled, with a weekly content plan
Elite Our share of net earnings 40% Best for Creators who want a dedicated account manager, extended chat coverage and a second platform managed

Using the earlier month of 1,000 USD in fan spending, your net is 800 USD. On Management, our share is 240 USD and you keep 560 USD. There are no hidden extras on top of the published split, and you can leave from your panel. You can see every line of every plan on our pricing page.

Questions to ask before you sign with anyone

Whoever you choose, these questions protect your income and your time. Ask them in writing and keep the answers.

  • Is the commission taken from net or gross earnings?
  • Which services are included, and which cost extra?
  • Who handles my inbox, and during which hours?
  • How do I leave, and what happens to my promotion accounts when I do?
  • How do you verify age and identity, and how do you protect my privacy?

If an agency answers all of these clearly, you can judge its percentage on its merits. If it cannot, the percentage does not matter. When you are ready to see a split that is published in full, take a look at our pricing and apply in two minutes.
